FMS: DCT TO
Hi there I noticed something that I am not sure if it is a bug or not: When using the lateral ‚direct to‘ function it switches to that waypoint but will not fly directly to it. Instead the plane wants to fly on the actual leg that led to that waypoint if that makes any sense.
Normally a direct to draws a line from your plane to that point and the FD /AP me will react to that. Am I doing something wrong here?

Hi,
Actually it will trace the shortest leg to fly direct to the destin waypoint, taking into account the turn to new bearing.
Hence it captures the new leg at the moment the current bearing coincides with a direct bearing to the destin.
