Possible performance suggestion
Hi guys!
I was exploring the external model while the plane was on midair and when i entered the cockpit (in the external model) i saw something rather shocking: On the external model, the VC is FULLY working too!
i saw the flight plan on the displays, i was able to click the switches, use the FMC etc etc. all of that from the external model!
That made me think: What is the cost of that in terms of performance? Don't get me wrong: It looks great!, but Isn't it wasteful to include a fully functioning VC on the external model specially taking into account that the plane is on the heavy side already? Is it possible to disable it or maybe include a checkbox on the config app?

Re: Possible performance suggestion
I've just spent my entire Easter Sunday working on creating a low-resolution VC...

I guess I wasn't clear enough; the low-res VC is for the external model!

Ahh i see. That's great!

What do you think about the fully functioning VC on the external model? Do you think it may have some performance impact? I was thinking that maybe on the external model there should only be the cabin but with the cockpit door closed. That way you can have a dummy, low res vc on the external model without impacting the looks of the passenger cabin.

Btw, there's another small bug on the passenger cabin: While the tables are getting out and unfolding, you can see the scenery in the gap where the table comes from. I can get an screenshot if you need. It mainly affects the tables that farthest from the cockpit, the ones at the back of the plane.

That's a new feature: fresh air for the passengers!xender wrote: ↑Mon Apr 13, 2020 4:53 pmBtw, there's another small bug on the passenger cabin: While the tables are getting out and unfolding, you can see the scenery in the gap where the table comes from. Seriously, I'm not too bothered about it, but have made a note in case further problems crop up.
