Distance calculation of FMC still incorrect by magnitudes

Post by matpietsch » Sat Apr 11, 2020 12:56 am

A simple flightplan: KSBA SLC KSUN.

Real world distance 730 nm.

MFD: 5380 nm
FMC: 10159 nm

How can something like this slip through?

Further testing shows, it is only that route pair with SLC in between. I don't know why.

I tested KACV HOCUT5 FOT DCT OAK DCT RZS DCT KSBA which is fine.

The rest also looks promising :).

This looks like you've picked the SLC VOR in Slovakia.

KSBA DCT SLC (Sliac VOR) is 5380nm.
