DME Arcs not available?

Hi all,
Two questions from a newbye:
1. I realized the FMS seems unable to plot&fly DME arcs who come with some SID/STARS. Is this correct?
2. I found there is a hotfix published, but i downloaded the plane 2 days ago. Should i aply this update?
Thanks!

Yes, the update should be applied.

I recommend it too. Some minor new bugs were introduced but overall it is way better than before.

Thanks for your reply!
I did apply the hotfix, but the behaviour is the same. Also it still does not draw DME arcs. Is this ok or am i doing something wrong?

Could you please be more specific? What is the procedure name you are trying to load and what is the airport code?
Generally DME arcs should work and are flyable with the patch. Maybe it's issue specific to some particular place?

Double check you are actually looking at a DME arc and not a Radius to Fix. The system can fly arcs but not RF legs. If the procedure says Authorization Required on the bottom, it cannot be flown in the KA.

I tested the DME arcs included in authorized SID & STAR in Spain, and the latest AIRAC:
Departure Airport: LEAS
Runway: 29
SID: AMAKA2F

- LEAS_SID_AMAKA2F_Chart.jpg (39 KiB) Viewed 2923 times

- LEAS_SID_AMAKA2F.jpg (347.28 KiB) Viewed 2923 times
Destination Airport: LEVC
Runway: 12
STAR: SOPET4D
APPROACH: ILS Z RW12
TRANSITION: Opera

- LEVC_STAR_SOPET4D_Chart.jpg (85 KiB) Viewed 2923 times

- LEVC_STAR_SOPET4D.jpg (205.71 KiB) Viewed 2923 times
Could you verify it?
Thanks!

Yes, it's broken at this place. Hope that MV team will analyze this case. These legs look quite simple in the database, but are not drawn at all.

Yes, it looks like if the arc radius was almost infinite (the initial and final legs of the arc are correct)...
Hope the support team could fix it!
Thanks for confirming.

I have an approach that I use to test DME ARC let me check if this is a global or regional issue.

OK, it must be something that is regional as I tried an approach with a DME ARC in the U.S. and it flew just fine.

Thanks!

You can try the following plan to fly some short arc route:
KGJT -> KGJT
KGJT departure JNC7, RW11.
KGJT arrival ILS 11, Trans ZUKSO

Sure I was testing a bunch of things but here was my route:
KBNA TIPPN3.BRXTN SALMS J39 MGM V7 BANBI ZUTAG KDHN
ILS 32 ZUTAG (IAF) full procedure
I tested Taxi and takeoff performance, DIR TO after a vector SID, cruise performance, TOD, VNAV descent, Wx Radar, and NAV-to-NAV. There was a front line east of KBNA that I was able to follow toward KDHN yesterday os it also allowed me to check handling near TRW and a landing in RA+.
