compass
Anyone else have the magnetic compass going crazy? Mine vibrates rapidly by about 30 degrees or so, almost unreadable when it gets bad

Re: compass
That is a normal behavior when blowers are On and/or windshield defrost is On.

I don't know in other aircraft but in this one:
So, yes, compass IS affected. How much would be variable and subjective.

Re: compass
It is an artistic interpretation. Generally in the airplane, I found the compass to be rather steady and off heading with windshield heat. The vibration makes it less subtitle in a sim where the compass itself is presented much smaller than real life.chevelle505 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 26, 2020 1:05 pmI fly real world too and ive never had a compass move 30 degrees left and right so fast its blurry and un readable..i wish i knew how to make a video of it...this is not realistic at all. Re: compass
So, while the issue cannot be smoothed, why not simply forget the effect? It is just pathetic watch that unreadable compass dancing like nuts.
Please, this is a suggestion.
