Lost some sounds...

Post by Heronjr » Sun Jan 19, 2020 2:00 am

After the last version Hot Fix Dec-24-2019, I lost some sounds. I would like to confirm this with other pilots in order to know if this issue is only mine. I can't hear anymore:

- The door opening/closing
- The morse sounds of the COM radios (when tuned and within reach)

I did not touch any sound config in my rig before installing and flying this last version. Before, I could hear these sounds perfectly. All of the other sounds, KA350i specific and P3D native, are all working.

Please check the panel.cfg..

In the [Vcockpit01] section check this line:
gauge01 = MV3DSound!MV3DS, 0,0,1,1,SimObjects\\Airplanes\\MV_King_Air_350i\\sound\\B350i#190

If there is not 190 but something with 160 something at the end, make it 190 and your sounds should be back. A small bugger that made it into the HF.

Hi,
The line in my panel.cfg is exactly as your example, with the #190. So it must be other issue.

The morse code are default simulator sounds. They are not part of the aircraft's files at all.

There really must be something P3D related. All my aircraft lost the NAV/VOR/ILS freq morse sounds. I don't know if this could've happened after the last P3D Content installation which fixed the KA350i cockpit dark textures.

Solution!

At least for my KA350i, opening or opening/closing the pilot's (left) side window, the door and the NAV morse sounds come back magically.
:roll:
