VOR/DME CONTROL

Post by paul.ziegler96 » Mon Dec 30, 2019 12:56 pm

Hi, the VOR/DME CONTROL Page in the FMS is broke, I can enter a VOR but it is not possible to delete an entry via the DELETE key.

Thanks for looking into this.

In the meantime, reset the NAV receiver to AUTO instead. Works for me.

I can't tell you for sure about the Proline 21 but I'm not aware of ANY avionic where you can actually DELETE a NAV or COM frequency. Swap it, change it, set it to AUTO... but to my knowledge SOMETHING is always tuned in a VHF receiver.

I think you are missing the right context. We are discussing manually input freq. in the CDU, not via the "conventional" RTU.
When you manually input a freq, you usually have the ability to Delete it and the logic will revert to autotune.
but maybe Collins only offers the auto/Man toggle selection.
