Hello

I believe you can choose the TFDi flightplan format in Simbrief when you export the OFP?

And when using the FMS, what buttons do we press to pick up and activate the flightplan?

make a DIR "routes"
\Prepar3D v4\Milviz\FMS-3000\routes
To load:
IDX
Next page
Route Menu
Pilot Route List
The flight plan will show up there.
I have had some success with Ti 717 format from Simbrief.
The usual disclaimers apply.

i can't make a .xml flightplan work. I created one with simbrief, downloaded it as as a TFDi Design 717 xml file, saved it in :\P3d v4\Milviz\FMS-3000\routes and tried to load it in the fmc via route menu - pilot route list. but there is nothing in there.

Any changes recently? did i miss a step?

Thanks and happy eastern!

Did you rename it so that there is a semicolon between departure and arrival airport?

examples:
ENVA;ESSA.xml
EDDK;LOWI.xml

Hi Michael, since the versions before today Apr-10, it was working without semicolons. I simply used Simbrief to TFDi pointing to the P3D-Milviz folder described above. Now, in this newest V1.1 i could not see the plan in the FMS Pilot Route List. I will try again tomorrow.

Heron,

it seems that they have created a big mess with SP1 regarding flightplans. I will make a new post about this soon and revert back to the pre-SP1 version.

Michael

Yes, it really solved - so, the official folder now is:

\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\Milviz\MVKA350i\routes\

Anyway, there is something that is still not working: routes with AIRWAYS between fixes (DERLO Q818 VIEEW Q82 PONCT) do not load completely - it loads only the first fix, and you have to fill it manually. Routes without AIRWAYS between fixes (RBL EUG PDX) load completely. Otherwise I'm doing something wrong, this has been happening since the last versions.
