FMS Takeoff Ref Page
Hi,
in Youtube videos you can see a Takeoff Ref page which outputs the takeoff speeds - for a different aircraft type though.
Is this page not implemented in the sim, or does the page not exist at all for this type of aircraft?
Cheers,
Stefan

Re: FMS Takeoff Ref Page
You can find this page in implementations for a jet aircraft. Use REFS button to find what probably you are looking for (initialize performance section first)

Re: FMS Takeoff Ref Page
In the video I saw it appeared that the Takeoff Ref page is actually calculating the V-speeds, depending on performance entries.
The speeds displayed upon pressing REFS button appear static respectively for manual entry.
Am I correct that the aircraft cannot calculate V-speeds but display manual entries only?

Re: FMS Takeoff Ref Page
The King Airs do not calculate V1, VR, V2, or VREF speeds. They must be manually entered by the crew from the PFD.

Re: FMS Takeoff Ref Page
Seems like a jet engine with FADEC or similar feature.
I say this because TAKE OFF ref pages not only calculates V-speeds, but also the N1 reference for takeoff. Hence the requirements for various atmospheric conditions etc.
The N1 bug is automatically set when the the pilot input appropriate takeoff data into the FMS and the airplane is in takeoff
configuration.

Yes, this is still "analog" plane in many areas and that's why I like it. It keeps the brain busy almost in every minute of the flight.

OK, no problem. Just wanted to understand the logic.
