Condition Lever Setting Upon Start-Up
Hi,
when starting up engine 2 the condition lever goes to low idle, Ignition/Engine Start Off, then high idle. This give me approx. 1110 RPM. When moving the lever to low idle and back to high idle using F4 key I suddenly end up at approx. 1350 RPM. Doing same by moving lever with the mouse, I get approx. 1200 RPM. Behavior appears somewhat inconsistend.
Bug or feature?
Cheers,
Stefan

Re: Condition Lever Setting Upon Start-Up
I am able to reproduce the inconsistent behavior upon every start-up.
To have a guidance, what is the real-world expected engine 2 RPM after moving to high-idle and Generator 2 reset/on?

That sounds a little high. Make sure your power levers are not sitting in ground fine.

Where should they sit? Because with the current setup they are well above Ground Fine.

Well above is not good either. They should sit on the flight idle stops. In the aircraft, there is a detent before having to lift up on the power levers. The sim is different. If you are using a mouse to control it then you need to look at where they sit before you move them.

Re: Condition Lever Setting Upon Start-Up
My Power Lever is at Idle (0%) position. The inconsitent behavior of the Condition Lever remains present after several flights:
- Different engine response, depending on lever movement by mouse (full forward 1110 RPM first time, 1250 RPM second time) or keyboard F4 (full forward 1350 RPM);
- Mouse drag-and-drop moves the lever to 99%. 100% is possible by mouse wheel up only;
- Mouse wheel partially turns lever in wrong direction, e.g. mouse wheel up results in lever down the first time, then it moves in correct direction.
The issues are reproducible needs to be looked at in line with the hardware controls configurations.

Re: Condition Lever Setting Upon Start-Up
Hi,
in version 1.1.27 items 2 and 3 still remain:
- Mouse drag-and-drop moves the lever to 99%. 100% is possible by mouse wheel up only;
- Mouse wheel partially turns lever in wrong direction, e.g. mouse wheel up results in lever down the first time, then it moves in correct direction.
This is a minor observation only, however I'd appreciate you looking at it.
Regards,
Stefan

Re: Condition Lever Setting Upon Start-Up
Hi,
Mouse wheel operation on levers is managed by P3D model. It is common to see a first opposite movement before travelling as expected.
For that reason I recommend using the wheel carefully, to avoid undesired fuel shutoffs.
Mouse drag checked and works fine, both in single and pair lever operation. Max range is 99.99 (cut to 99 integer) so that's ok.
Thanks!
Tomas
