Minimum Power Settings During Descend/Approach

Hi,
following situation:
- Level Flight at 5000ft
- 1600 RPM
- 33% Torque (60% Throttle Lever)
- Stable 200 KIAS
Throttle Lever/Torque cannot be reduced further as it brings the aural gear warning message. Flaps cannot be deployed since max. speed is exceeded.
I am unable to reduce speed for approach even in level flight.
How should I proceed with the approach? Is the gear warning a bug? What is the minimum Torque I can actually use (*)?
(*) From a different aircraft I remember a minimum Torque/Power Setting to pressurize the cabin - does this apply to the B350?
Cheers,
Stefan

It's not a bug.
Just silence the horn, there is a p/b on left power lever.
The red gear handle will still glow - and will continue to do so until power levers are advanced (>85% N1?) .

Thank you, got the button now (little hard to find in default view).
Still curious about the minimum power lever/torque setting - am I allowed to reduce to Idle/0% in flight?

Yes, gear horn sounds if any of the power levers is retarded below approx. 85% N1 AND if flaps are either in Up or Appr position.
But the same sound is also used for configuration warning, for example if you try to climb with full flaps and gear retracted.

Hi !
Do you guys have a keyboard or FS assignment for this function ?

You can press . (the dot - brakes) to cancel it.

Thanks for the quick answer.

I think they are looking at the fee as well—remember reading a post about how the aircraft prop drag was more effective in an earlier version but it got a bit messed up.

The drag profile at slower speeds at the moment is not very realistic, the aircraft doesnt slow down like it should. I think I saw someone of the team mention they are looking into this.

Yes, there is a problem with the flight dynamics at low speeds. I have not heard back from the development team on this yet, but they were discussing where the bug might reside.
