I had the chance to mess around with the charts feature a little more and had decent luck with converting the airport diagram to a 1:1 sized jpg converted from my source PDF. Since the chart scroll buttons don't seem to work, this accomplishes what I'm after for now.

Also did some more digging and found that the chart manager associates files with an airport and stores the .jpgs/.pngs in separate directories in %localappdata%\Milviz\ECV\{Airport ID}. Though I'm still trying to figure out the naming convention to get the corresponding approach charts to show up - is there a trick? I see that APD.jpg/png is the airport diagram, which works just fine. However, any file I've associated via the chart manager and confirmed it was placed in the APP folder (or ARR, DEP, or DIA folders) doesn't show up in the charts menu on the MFD. I've setup the FMS with the approach I'd like to fly and verified it's in the correct place with the chart manager but nothing appears other than the airport diagram for the destination. Then again, perhaps I'm getting ahead of myself and there will be documentation forthcoming with details... ;)

Hello Everyone,

I too can not get the charts to show up even after following the instructions. Any ideas?

Thanks,

Millzy

Stupid question but once I get into the charts with the cop..I can’t get back to the main mfd..I hit esc..nav..everything..just takes me between menus or takes me to the “status” menu..how do I close it all out and get back to the mfd?

I ran into the same issue, could not get back to the nav display.

The ESCAPE key normally does the trick. What exact page were you stuck on?

Without knowing what exact steps were taken to get there, I can't fix it - it works properly the way I'm using it.

Quick question.

Are the chart memory buttons active and if so how do store and retrieve a chart?

Thank you in advance.

Bob

I do not believe the memory buttons are implemented.
