Question about STARS when inserted near an airport
Hello and merry christmas.
Today i went from KLAS to KSFO. Ive got a visitor and that made me miss the top of descent point while the route got continued until AXMUL (see pics). I vent VFR a while until i was on the needed altitude for the approach and tried to enter the STAR again, with transition and runway.
So, as you can see wp AXMUL was the active wp

Then ive tried to enter the STAR again, like mentioned.

When i press EXEC here no new waypoints will be inserted. It stays with AXMUL as the active one. Is that right behaviour?

Well, that does not look like proper behavior of the FMS, but for clarification were was the airplane physically when you reloaded the STAR. I have seen this before on the ground when I changed an SID and I am trying to see if it may be the same waypoint jumping problem, or if the STAR did not reload.

i was around 30nm from the AXMUL waypoint in a straight line opposite to the runway (i went straight back)
