Cargo doors behavior

Post by xender » Tue Dec 24, 2019 8:43 pm

Hi guys!

I keep trying stuff to see how i can break the plane, that way it will be better

A few moments ago while at cruise altitude i was fiddling the doors and windows. The plane wont let me open the passenger door nor the cockpit windows, that's very realistic, but, the same check doesnt exist for the cargo doors. It is possible to open them fully in mid flight.

Is it possible to implement some logic to prevent that? I think it should work like this:
* If you take off with the cargo doors open, the wind should close them on the take off run (like at 20 knots or something? maybe less?)
* It should not be possible to open them while in flight

Thanks for the report. I'll add the required check logic to ensure that the doors will not open while inflight.

You are talking about the wing lockers behind the propellers? OMG never in my life would I suspect someone would try to open these in flight.

Maybe he was testing to see if they could be used as speed brakes?
