Frohe Weihnachten :-)

I had a few Glühweins too hehe.

Ok, about the problem. When you say "The last two are from a different aircraft at the exact same spot and a few seconds later.", how you mean that?
Did you load another livery or did you just wait a few seconds?

Seems you dont use any shader addons like Tomatoshade, PTA, Rex Environmentforce or ENVSHADE. Do you have the latest P3D hotfix? If you reinstall the client and delete the shader folder mentioned above you can make sure its not a shader thing. That way you delete the shader cache AND put the original shaders back.

How big is your GPU Vram? And how big is the Ram?

I reinstalled and deleted the shader folder with the same results.

My GPU vram is 11 GB and my Ram is 64 GB.

Good Morning Friends!

@ kasten.amarant & Ephedrin: You're welcome - Prost!
@ Franklin Duncan: The same result here!
@ kasten.amarant: My mistake, not the last two in the row, but the first two (the mysterious "system" muddled something up here). And it is not just another livery but a whole different aircraft (Flight1 B200). I loaded it at the exact same spot, time, weather etc. 30 seconds or so afer the milviz Beach just to show - normally my system is o.k. And yes, I am not using any shader addons (I do not even know what that is for). Is there a hotfix for P3DV4? I have to look for that, I'm not sure. And my machines specs - I have to look for that too.

Greatings from Germany,

Michael

Can you try temporarily renaming reallight.dll which you will find in the Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4\gauges folder
Please restart the sim and let us know what effect that has.

Hi Oisin,

sorry, no success - it's pitch-dark!

Today I updated my nividia-drivers to the latest version. Win 10 Home is V 1903. Still no success. Unfortunately.

The only way I can get rid of the dark regions is disabling the inside shadows in the P3D graphics options. But I don’t want to loose these effects making the shadows dancing in the cockpit.

Why the dark regions exist only in the cockpit? Entering in the pax cabin, we can see the seats there are bright white and there are no dark textures.

Looks like some PBR issue. How model looks in outside view? Is it broken too? And once again - do you have latest P3D version installed with HF2 that supports PBR? Please check version number that is displayed in Control Panel / Programs and Features for Prepar3D Client.

Hello again,

as for me I can say "Yes" - updated p3d to the latest version. But what is HF2? I dont't know that, sorry. And the outside of the bird looks fantastic!

Thanks. P3D HF2 means version 4.5.13.32097. Cabin has no PBR for performance reasons, but if it looks good on outside, probably this is something different.

Mine too. P3D latest version. HF2 for me was also a mystery, and the outside looks great, as well as the pax cabin.
