Hello all,

thanks to the support of MilViz, there's already a LINDA module in work.


For all, which do not know about LINDA: it is a freeware application (however based on registered/paid FSUIPC) which lets you easily assign nearly all possible switches and knobs to your HID hardware and VRInsight MCP Combos.
(Axes are not supported)

I make good progress, however there are some difficulties and Xmas is tomorrow, so I will be some days off of course.


Think there will be an release of a first version before end of 2019 hopefully

start drawing a mcp for the 350 , had done one for the CRJ 550-1000 and its very similar

A first beta of the MilViz LINDA module is ready so there you could start with it.

It does not contain all switches and is not meant to be complete. But most of the important ones are in, already (about 200 already). But I wanted to share it already, so that you could start with it.

Expect a new version not earlier then the coming SP of MilViz for the B350, where they hopefully fix a lot of bugs then.

For years I have used Linda and various profiles and for those who are not familiar with LINDA, it is one of those utilities you sorely miss when you can't use it (when no profile is available)

Guenseli, thanks for your work on getting the Linda profile ready. I use Spad.Next and already have a number of buttons/switches/dials programmed. However, I am trying to derive my LVAR/EventID's from your work for those that I have missing (mainly AP Panel). To this end can I ask if these values are LVAR's or Simconnect values? If LVAR's I don't seem to be able to call them up? e.g. You list "B350i AP HDG Bug inc" and I can only find "LVAR:B350i_AP_HDGBug" or in SimConnect "HEADING_BUG_INC".

Are you able to assist/clarify in some way?

I do not know how it work in SPAD ...

I use Lvars, but they are combined in functions used in LUA scripts.


The complete function for the HDG Bug ( as example) is:

But this contains Knob animation in VC, Sounds and the ability to rotate it faster, when you rotate the knob faster.
The Lvar you need just to set HDG is "AP_EVENT", 69834
But then, you just get the HDG set, no sound and no animation

Thanks very much Guenseli! I have now got it working partially and wonder if I can ask a couple more questions to clarify some issues?

1. I assume the AP_Event, 69834 is sending a Mouse Wheel Up/Down command? If so, can you let me know the other value?
2. XMLSND2, 1 - is this the sound event?
3. Where does the B350i_HDGBugRot_cw Event come from? It is not listed in my LVAR (as expected) but nor can I find it anywhere else (Simconnect, FSUIPC, Local Variables) I assume this is the Event that triggers the animation?

Built one very similar to that few years back using Leo Bodnar board. About time t6o upgrade the encoders. Where did you get yours if I may ask?
