I've seen this a few times in my sim and also watching a stream. For me, it occurs after spawning in with engines on and then pulling the right prop back to full feather.

I see this too on start up. I believe I am following the correct procedures on this one.

Just be careful leaving props in feather for considerable time and in a tail wind scenario. It will affect oil temp, as just happened in your example.

Interesting.....but both engines are running for an almost equal length of time yet only the RHS shows this behaviour. Can you possibly explain this? Just interested in what is behind in the code.

The OP told he had that reading with only right prop in feather position.

Isn't that your case?

If not, probably this is what is happening:
-You load a KA flight, and then you change your date/time to some very far away. Date/Time must not be changed in flight. We are going to detail how KA fights may be started asap.

I'm seeing the oil temp rise immediately after moving it into feather: https://streamable.com/jj429

I'm loading a default P3d airplane (the Commander), cold and dark, then starting the engine with CTRL+E. Then I'm loading the KA350 which has current conditions set as the default state.

I think best practice is to load the KA from the scenario manager rather than switching vehicles

Actually it is mandatory to do so. That will be very emphasized in the incoming documents.

The reason I'm loading it that way is to quickly have an engines-on scenario. What's the best way to go about doing that, then?

The best way is to save your default aircraft (not the KA) with the engines on. Close P3D.
Then select 'Current condition' in the MVAMS. Save defaults and close.
Now when you select the KA in the scenario picker in P3D it will open with the engines running.

Hello all,
I am having this issue as well. For me it is occurring when I do the autofeather test. Right engine goes into feather and instant 140 degree oil. Yet when I do the test with the left engine no problem, even if I let the engine stay feathered for an extended period of time. I’ll play with it some more and see if I can isolate a variable. Other wise all good.

Oh and I absolutely love this plane. Milviz really put a masterpiece out! I’ve been waiting for over a decade for a solid king air to hit the market. Here it is, my dream come true!!!
