Transponder status not transmitted to VATSIM

Not sure it was coded to work with vatsim. I assume vatsim is tring to read a stock lvar for transponder?

Also wondering if you see any traffic when using built in radar?

@Slayer no it wasn't. To get the mode C and Ident functions working requires some special SimConnect code. I already did it for our T-38s and F-15C and F-16C. Will pass it on to the KA team.

Hi,
Transponder transmitted code is P3D format. It is recognized by P3D ATC system. If VATSIM is compatible with P3D format then it will be recognized.
However transponder handling is not fire and go. You must change status from stdby to active so it will start transmitting.

I did. And sorry but this is not an excuse - other addon aircraft (PMDG,FSL, Leonardo, Majestic to name a few) handle it just fine.

Does P3D ATC recognize the transponder code?
Have you checked P3D ATC behavior with transponder active and standby? Have you engaged altitude transmit?

EDIT: I see VATSIM indeed needs a custom config for the xpdr. I’ll add it and will be available in the first SP.
