King Air 350i Version 0.9 Build 42
Please read carefully as this is not a normal weekly build and this post changed from last week's.
Testing and Feedback Team,
Official beta (0.9.X) build 42 is available here: https://milviz.com/Online_products/BETA ... 191215.zip
The final testing version has arrived. This version is expected to be a complete version of what 1.0.0 will be. The team has worked very hard over the last few weeks to iterate over and close a number of bugs in many areas and add remaining missing features. There may be a few minor bugs or issues in this build that will be solved before release but the product should behave as expected.
As of now, release has been moved to December 19th, 2019. Over the next few days, we are looking to iron out and final snags in preparation for release. We anticipate a service pack at some point post-release to address issues discovered by the wider audience and we may expand some functionality with that update.
Now is the time to help us catch anything that seriously impacts the experience. Things to look out for include:
If there are items found that are outside the scope of the above list, we do still care. Please do report them but understand that we may not be able to them immediately. Thank you all for your feedback so far and we are looking forward to bringing it home.
FAQ

A: Message me or Oisín (doodlebug) for a serial key.
Q: I get SUPER low FPS.
A: Try disabling "transparent surface rendering" in the MVAMS.

Congratulations on this build, the only thing I experience at this moment that the groundspeed with iddle throttles is much too high and the brakes aren't working as they should, I did not have this problem on the previous builds but it could be related to my system setup.
Cheers,
Ruud

Congrats! I think it'll be a success and just in time for Xmas!
Can I spread the word on the Avsim Forum about the imminent release or would you rather I keep it under wraps? It should generate some excitement there. But I won't mention anything without your permission. Thanks!

Hi,
Not sure if I am getting the latest version. File from the link above is "MV_KA350i_v0.9.41_191206.zip" which I assume from the name is build 41?
Anyway, just though I'd let you know that I'm still seeing the same oddly shaded cockpit as I reported in the build 40 thread.
Thanks,
Dave

Re: King Air 350i Version 0.9 Build 42
I'm sure there is something strange going on with the names and versions. Last time (Nov-06-2019) was announced build 40 and the file was v0.9.41_191206.
Now is announced Build 42 and the file is v0.9.41_191206 - the same filename as the previous one? The editor should double-check the package and its contents.
Please, change the zip file because the above link is pointing to the last week version, SAME size, date and time!!!

Always taxi with Condition Levers in Low Idle position, and control speed moving Power Levers below IDLE - Beta position . Use brakes as less as possible and with low speeds only.

Re: King Air 350i Version 0.9 Build 42
i installed version 4.1 and LNAV will not cycle to the next waypoint. It stays on the first waypoint and just keeps following it. I do the performance section in the CDU and put in a cruise altitude yet none of my waypoints list this altitude. I assume vnav can calculate appropriate altitudes for the entire flight plan. I try to enter a altitude restriction before the initial top of decent point and this doesn't update. the magnetic compass spins out of control wildly and the last initial thing I noticed is the aircraft shadow shows a static prop when the engines are actually on and the props are spinning. These are what I have found so far. Sorry guys but version 3.9 worked a lot better for me.

Hi,
Check your LEGS page. Sequence is in INHIBIT position, meaning waypoints wont't cycle. You must always ensure that sequence is in AUTO for the FMS to change to the next waypoint. Check your PFD, there's also a SEQ INHIB white message telling you what's going on...
Put your Env Mode Selector to OFF if it is in Auto, and check that Windows Defog switch is OFF as well. Both affect the behavior of the mag compass.the magnetic compass spins out of control wildly.

Awesome, thank you for that information. I really appreciate it! I’ll try that out. Do you know about issues with the flight plan altitudes. I put in a cruise altitude of 14000 ft and every waypoint had 2300 ft listed. Does VNAV follow entered altitude constraints?

Re: King Air 350i Version 0.9 Build 42
I keep getting the error "FMC TEXT INCOMPATIBLE". I used to be able to get rid of it with each build using the "install" of each font or using the font that was attached to an older post. But with the last two releases I can't get it to fix the issue. Any ideas?

Milviz crew:
Please, confirm the name, zip file name, and filename, date, time of contents of the actual published version. It seems this version is the same as the latest one from Nov06-2019.
Nothing has changed.

My glass displays (PFD, MFD) are not working, they did not work in all builds on my PC. Has this something to do with SLI compatibility?
Maybe this issue is already addressed somewhere and I missed that.(graphic card: 2 x Titan x (pascal).
