Re: KA350i Version 1.1 (SP1 - 1.1.7) [UPDATED APR 21]
Morning guys,
Using 1.1.7 I still have the model issue externally, I think its the cockpit door being open?
I also see a significant increase in memory usage since 1.1.6 yesterday. Up by over a GB in the same scenarios. (Even before touching any systems from the 'Parked' state)

I'm also seeing some strange behaviour with the pressurisation. This continued all the way to destination (i.e. through climb to FL290 which was set for pressurisation, cruise and descent)

Hi guys... updated yesterday and flew with 1.1.7 today for the first time. Had my very first OOM in P3D v4.5... really sad.

Anyone else having trouble with ILS capturing or is it just me doing something wrong?

Should VNAV restrictions now be shown in yellow? (See FMS, PFD and MFD) This behaviour is new for me in 1.1.7.

Sorry guys, just seen the VNAV error was from a restriction including a level above the cruise alt... please ignore it!

Re: KA350i Version 1.1 (SP1 - 1.1.7) [UPDATED APR 21]
First off, this is not a discussion about the 717 (or anything other than the KA350i, for that matter). This is a VERY different team and along with that, the expectations, workflow, and requirements change - I am not the final decision maker in this instance.
The intent is to get this product to a state that it is enjoyable, stable, and complete. There will always be "one more request" or "bug". We are NOT going to leave the product alone with major issues simply for the sake of moving on. If we were going to do that, why would we have pushed as hard as we have for so long?
Please report your bugs and relevant feedback. That's what helps.

Yes, this is from the cockpit door. If you close the door from the external model you can see it moving.tredsell wrote: ↑Wed Apr 22, 2020 12:35 pmMorning guys,

I think we all are frustrated about the state of this aircraft.
I have no doubt that we will see continued support and updates for this addon.
But like me, many bought it back at xmass and has yet to see it work as intended, and that for an addon that isn´t exactly cheap.
For all what it promise to offer, the price is fine, but we simply aren´t there yet - so I´m sure You understand the frustration among customers.
VRAM usage has not been fixed with the last two updates, and it´s not fun to fly in an addon that tend to CTD when touching the systems.
I look forward and is sure that we evemtually will get where we liketo be.

Re: KA350i Version 1.1 (SP1 - 1.1.7) [UPDATED APR 21]
Tested 1.1.7 today, and it's the same 10-15 fps slideshow as 1.1.6.
At GVAC, with zero weather/clouds and where there's sparse scenery, the KA 350 consumes almost 7 GB of VRAM. This is obviously the reason behind the slideshow appearance when flying in normal conditions with scenery, clouds, weather et cetera.
Only the devs know what has been changed between 1.1.3 and 1.1.6/1.1.7, but the change(s) turned the 350 into a VRAM-consuming monster!

Version 1.0.1 was veru smooth - actually the smoothes of all my glass cockpit equipped addons.
I never measures VRAM footprint on 1.0.1.
I´m still a big fan of this addon, cause when the CTD's and VRAM issue is fixed, then there are so many features that makes this so interesting.
I might make a flight later today and note all issues found - maybe our inputs and bug reports can help further the progress on updates.

Depends...
But most often aircraft are able run their engines without the electrrical fuelpumps.
The engines have their own mechanical fuelpump and the electrical is just for redundancy.
Also if the tanks are above the engines, the engines can be gravity fed.

Hi
I can confirm the KA used 6.4Gb VRAM with all systems off at NZQN, and utilising 90% CPU.
That was a suprise, although based on what others here have said, perhaps not quite so much. That is very near collapse on my GTX1080 8Gb graphics card - which can currently access 6.7Gb of my 8Gb VRAM. To its credit though, no CTDs with the KA as yet, at least flying in Colombia earlier today.
By contrast the rather tasty and highly complex FSL A320X Airbus in exactly the same location (NZQN) used 2.9Gb VRAM!
Once we have Win 10 v2004, I believe we'll be able to access 7.1Gb. However, I agree this is a huge amount of VRAM for a GA plane.
