Did you guys try the low res or high res on V5 or is it the same either way?

I have the 4068 textures selected (to avoid performance decrease because of downsampling) but run on a full HD screen if you mean that.

Not exactly. In the new installer if you pick "custom" we offer 2 different texture sets for the KA a hires or a lower res version. Hello,
P3D V5 (high res) Annunciators doesn't work for me, all annunciators are black (black, not dark red as when spent). Doing the test ("Press to Test" button) I solely get the red text "Fire".
P3D V4 (high res) annunciators are working as expected.
The story is: I first installed (july 19th) the beta for the sole V5 unchecking RealLight (as some guys here were complaining about low FPS) then I uninstalled and reinstalled (today, july 21th) for both V4 & V5 with RealLight checked.

- A folder "...\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5\SimObjects\Airplanes\MV_King_Air_350i\RealLight" is present with 84 files in 38 folders (seems identical to his cousin from V4).
- In folder "...\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5\gauges", "RealLight.dll" is absent and there is no subfolder "RealLight" (copying those of V4 has no effect).

As I suspected then. It didnt get installed to V5. Thanks for the feedback I will pass this on to the dev team so it gets corrected for the next build.

I know I've asked this a few times also but again:
open an administrator command prompt, change directory to your: \Prepar3D v5\SimObjects\Airplanes\MV_King_Air_350i\Redistributables
type in RealLightInstaller.exe /beta and hit enter.
See if it works. I can see from above his RealLightInstaller.exe would get blocked from windows without proper permission or admin ( the little shield icon)

It works now. Annunciators, floods, etc. Just made take-off and landing after a 5 minutes flight around LICJ and didn't notice any FPS problem with my usual settings.
When I previously run the RealLight installer (as Admin) I didn't know that "/beta" was required

Hi
Done a fer flights (in v 1.0.32) and all seems to be working well so far. I use non-EA weather and VRAM usage is quite manageable at around 5Gb in S America.
One question when replaying is , why the nosewheel is stuck in full right position? Doesn't affect taxiing.
Anyone else seen this?

Please pass on to the developer a request to lighten the texture of the cockpit. Very very dark even at noon in P3Dv5

Though I agree it is darker, the textures are absolutely identical to what they were in V4. We're seeing all sorts of color-related issues across the board in V5.

How I do gain access to a previous beta build? I am getting a download error on the old link. This version is completely broken with the non-functioning Annunciator panel and lights, I cannot get it to work as it previously did.

I understand that the problem is on the LM side. But you need at least a temporary package of light textures. Airbus Aerosoft, Boeing PMDG, Maddog have light textures in P3Dv5. Dark textures only KingAir 350 and QW787. Just a temporary texture for the front panel. Was there not a similar issue a few builds back in 4.5? Interior lighting does not work but I don't have flicker that others have.
