I just tried an ILS Appraoch and the Ap seems to have trouble at capturng the localizer. It is doing curves all times...

Hello Tomas,
I allways insert my route manually using FPLN and DEP/ARR pages. Leg pages for removing some discontinuity, and thats all.
CTD happened just after inserted RPR fix and click in EXEC button.
No changes was made via legs page this time, just used FPLN page and the DEP/ARR.
Hi Felipe,

I don't have a CTD loading your flight plan:

All Ok after EXEC on RPR. I cannot enter Z73 though.

I'm sure i could insert this airway at that time. Are you using the last AIRAC cycle?
The skyvector picture attached shows the airway i tryied to insert for the route.
But this is in fact strange, because i remember PFPX that i use for generating my plans, did not recognized this airway neither.
Maybe the FMS is allowing to insert wrong airways, being the cause of the CTD?
Worth to check!

Anyway, the difference of the 1.1.7 version from 1.1.6 it's just the fix of the weather file, or there are more things fixed? I'm asking this, because i created a topic reporting issues when i perform ILS approaches, and i updated it yesterday, to tell that 1.1.6 didn't fix the problem. Waiting for some answer there.

Regards,
Felipe.

Hello all,

Version 1.1.7 (the revised GM of the "1.1" SP1 update) is now available here: https://milviz.com/Online_products/Prod ... 200421.zip

Please FULLY uninstall the previous version of the aircraft before installing this one.

This is the second pass at this update as the wider audience did, indeed, find some extra issues. I've highlighted the changes and fixes from the last pass. Please let us know if there are any showstoppers, otherwise, this update will be final.

I consider the VRAM issue to be a showstopper, but it sounds like y'all are wrapping this project up. Ok. Hope y'all learned some good lessons for the Lear.

What do you mean by that? Does that mean that this is the last update for this product?

Yeah but we still have some important pages missing on the fmc, like the fix page. I hope they continue improving it further. As a developer i hate when i see other developers not proud of their products. I cant understand how some developers put their name behind a product, leave a buggy mess behind and just move on to create another buggy mess. That's why i don't do business with some developers on our hobby.

I rather think they mean that 1.1.7 is the last beta version of the final SP1 update .
That doesn´t mean that there won´t be a SP2.

It would make little sense to leave a project that has been under developement for 6½ years without further updates.
They sold us an addon that is "beyond study level", so bugs that makes certain functions inop or buggy should still be looked into.
Thats not the same as some reallife features won´t be left out, but for a "Beyond study level" addon there shouldn´t be many.

The cause of CTD is mainly caused by directing to a certain waypoint during the flight. This may exist on any route or on the ground or sky. I flew 3 times, and every time I directed to and confirmed, it would be CTD. 1.1.6

But what about the installer for v5?
Does the life of a beautiful airplane end here? There are many prospects ahead!

What a useless and simply wrong comment. The 717 just got a bunch of fixes that cured long outstanding issues. I hope the KA will get to a proper state soon, too.

Cheers
