Re: KA350i Version 1.1 (SP1 - 1.1.23) [UPDATED MAY 9]
I have a few observations that are mildly annoying but not show-stoppers:
1. L NO FUEL XFR and R NO FUEL XFR warnings come on when at idle even with 190 FF. Having to constantly acknowledge the flashing warning light when things are working normally is odd.
2. ECS Mode switch is on AUTO with Cold and Dark load.
3. No audible alarm with CABIN DIFF WARN TEST, CABIN ALT WARN TEST does sound alarm.
4. To switch between receiving Comm 1 and Comm 2 you switch XMIT selector, the switches below it seem to have no effect. In most of my other high-end aircraft, you can receive both at the same time if desired and the mic and speaker switches work independently.
My system:
- P3D version 4.5.13.32097
- HP Pavilion Premium Gaming Desktop, Intel i5-7400, 8 gb RAM, 1 TB HDD, 3 GM NVIDIA GTX 1060
- Windows 10 64 bit

Re: KA350i Version 1.1 (SP1 - 1.1.23) [UPDATED MAY 9]
Hi,
That is correct. Lights will come on when there is fuel in AUX tanks and xfr pumps are not working. In your case it's because engine auto ignition is ON, and ignitors are active due to low torque (green annunciators illuminated). Simply switch Autoignition Off to cancel the lights.
That is intended. Cold and dark reflects aircraft situation after a short stopover.2. ECS Mode switch is on AUTO with Cold and Dark load.
That is correct. Sound triggers with CABIN ALT WARN TEST only, CABIN DIFF WARN TEST triggers a red warning annunciator light.3. No audible alarm with CABIN DIFF WARN TEST, CABIN ALT WARN TEST does sound alarm.
Just turn AUTO COMM switch to ON.4. To switch between receiving Comm 1 and Comm 2 you switch XMIT selector, the switches below it seem to have no effect. In most of my other high-end aircraft, you can receive both at the same time if desired and the mic and speaker switches work independently.

Re: KA350i Version 1.1 (SP1 - 1.1.23) [UPDATED MAY 9]
In MVAMS under options, "current conditions" still seems to have no effect. Whenever I choose that option, the airplane will always be in a state ready for takeoff, even if it was parked and shut down before.
Also, in cold and dark state, the landing lights are on.

The caption is a bit misleading - but it definitely doesn't mean "last conditions". If you want that, you need to save the flight after shutdown, and reload this saved flight the next time you start the sim.
Everything you need to know regarding loading states is explained here in detail:

Re: KA350i Version 1.1 (SP1 - 1.1.23) [UPDATED MAY 9]
I just realized that, in the tables "Takeoff Speeds & Field Length Reference" in the user guide, V2 decreases as the field elevation increases. I am not a real pilot, but this seems odd to me. Higher elevation means the air is less dense, so I would expect that more speed is required to produce the same amount of lift. Is that because this is indicated airspeed?
Also, my EFIS showed ATT FAIL / alignment fail. Not sure if this is reproducible yet, but it might be worthwhile to keep an eye on. During approach (gear down, flaps 1 notch down), the "rudder boost off" warning sign was on, even though it was on the entire time. And I couldn't lower the flaps more than the first notch.
Strange, but this is nevertheless my favourite plane right now.
Thanks,
Peter

Yes, that is because is Indicated Speed (KIAS), which reduces with altitude while ground speed to obtain a given KIAS increases.qqwertzde wrote: ↑Sat May 09, 2020 11:01 pmI just realized that, in the tables "Takeoff Speeds & Field Length Reference" in the user guide, V2 decreases as the field elevation increases. Ground speed on take off is an important factor to keep tyres in good shape, reducing the risk of blowing one(s).

Re: KA350i Version 1.1 (SP1 - 1.1.23) [UPDATED MAY 9]
I thought I did that, and generally definitely do it. Maybe I made a mistake in that flight that triggered all these things with EFIS, flaps, and rudder boost. I will report back if this occurs again.
Thanks Raptor and Tomas,

Hi
Just found something really frustrating in the last couple of releases.
Not sure if it’s the KA, but my rudders (Saitek) no longer move the nose wheel steering. This was never a problem before and all my other planes seem to work fine. Hence why I suspected it may be something to do with the KA.
Anyone seen this? Most important: any ideas? I can’t taxi until this is fixed. Therefore it is unusable regrettably.
Thanks
Ray
