Re: Framerate issues - frame rate collapses
Hey hey,
yes mine has a rate of 60Hz too, but it doesn't change anything. Especially if it is the only addon with poor performance. =/
EDIT: I got some news.. sometimes if i reboot my pc, the framerate is much better on a fresh session in the King Air. But if i restart P3D the framerate is bad again. It doesn't make sense.

Re: Framerate issues - frame rate collapses
kplanet, I fully understand your frustration.
I forgot to ask you to disable other add-ons as well. I see of your signature that you have EnvShade installed, which probably have generated its own shaders in P3D. After you've disabled it inside P3D, you need to quit P3D, delete the shaders and start P3D again to generate new shaders. Then see if your FPS improves. Remember to back-up the P3D shader folder before deleting the files inside it. I don't want you to break your system, although it normally is perfectly safe to delete the files inside the shader folder.
The folder is located at: DRIVE_LETTER/users/your_name/AppData/Local/Lockheed Martin/Prepar3D/Shaders
To see this folder, you must allow Windows to show all hidden folders and files.

Hey terjekj,
thank you a lot for help.
I tried to run it based on your instrucions. Uninstalled EnvShade, deleted Shaders-folder. Envshade was deactive.
But i still had the same bad framerate. Please pay attention on my last edited post.

Re: Framerate issues - frame rate collapses
That's really weird, especially if it happens only with this particular aircraft!

It's quite obvious that something in the KA350 impacts your configuration combo of P3D and computer hardware. I would have suggested turning off anti-virus for all folders that P3D accesses next (make exemptions for P3D folders and scenery folders in the anti-virus software), but since other aircraft runs smoother I doubt that that will have an impact, but it's worth a try just to make sure.

Re: Framerate issues - frame rate collapses
Are you sure your p3d did complete shutdown, meaning the process terminated all addons that were launched and itself. Normally with more complex setups, P3D is still running even if icon disappeared from the taskbar may take upto 30 seconds or maybe even more - you can check in the task manager how long it takes. It's to make sure that there is no "zombie" process running in the background that may trigger such issue.

Hi jarek,
yes i know what you mean. I've noticed that too. But it's not everytime. Just rarely and sometimes after a pc reboot. I just tried it out.
Damn thats so frustrating.
Its not worth to fly with 15fps!
Im almost about to renew my sim completely but I don't have much hope -.-
