I hear it in that file too. But I also heard the click/pop sound cruising at 1500RPM, but a lot quieter.

Re: Annoying sound artifact
This definitely is still a problem with the latest update. I thought I was going crazy but I am glad to know I am not the only one with this problem. I really think the soundpack is very well done minus the sound popping issue. Looking at this in Audacity, it looks like some of the sound files may be clipped. I am gonna try turning down the volume a bit on them and see if that fixes it.

Re: Annoying sound artifact
Hi all, I sent out a fix for this a long time ago and it definitely made it into the package.
For the ones that are still having issues; could you please verify on your end that the culprit is PT6A-60_ENG1_PROP_1700RPM.wav? Move that file from the \sound directory to a temp directory and run the sim (preferably a couple of times) and check if the ticking/clipping is gone.

Re: Annoying sound artifact
I ended up slightly reducing the volume of this particular file in Audacity and this resolved the problem. Thanks

Re: Annoying sound artifact
I decided to revisit the King Air a couple of months later after some more updates, but it appears the sound anomaly is still there. Removing the PT6A-60_ENG1_PROP_1700RPM.wav file listed above seems to resolve the issue. If its not the file itself, I know there are some sound issues going back to the FSX days so it wouldn't surprise me if some of the small sound bugs are still present in p3d. I have seen these "ticking" sound problems come up with other addon aircraft in the past.
