Here are a few items I have found after my first flights on the current build:
External Lighting:
- Both top and bottom Beacons are steady illuminated when the switch is in the off position, even with the aircraft powered off.
- Wingtip nav light lenses are brightly illuminated their respective colors when the nav lights are on.
- Lighting halo effect at the wingtip for the Recognition lights is excessively bright.
- Dynamic lighting for the Recognition lights seems to be too bright. Lights are brighter than Landing and Taxi lights combined.
- Tail flood lights illuminate the ground 50-75 feet beyond the aircraft.
Internal Lighting:
Without Instrument Indirect Lighting on:
- Panel text backlighting alignment issue for the following locations:
"Master Panel Lights ON/OFF" switch,
"1000 FT" Label on pressurization controller,
"Fast" label on wiper controls.
Except for Pilot Overhead Flood, Triangles on all overhead light switches do not illuminate.
With Instrument Indirect Lighting on:
Same issues as above, with the addition of alignment issues on both the left and right switch panels, approx lower 2/3 of each panel.
External Model Issues:
- F/O Side Engine Nacelle Storage Compartment: Strut not attached to lid, inboard latch (closest to fuselage) slides through lid and into wing.
- Volumetric Prop Effect F/O effect wider than Captain side when in external view.
- Captain doesn't have his headset on.
Internal/VC Model Issues:
- Missing texture on lift strut for the aircraft entry door, also visible in external model.
- I would love to see further refinement on the prop disks in the VC. At 106 inches each, the props are one of the most visible parts of the aircraft
from any point in the VC. The best prop representation using modern effects I have found has been on the Vertx DA62. It adds a substantial amount
of depth and fidelity to the VC.
Systems and Gauges:
- Standby compass exhibiting twitchy and erratic behavior in flight and on the ground.
- Cabin pressurization system alert between FL330 and FL350. Alert shown on annunciation panel and audible horn which is silenced by the gear
warning button. Is this normal behavior?
- When loading the aircraft from C&D, after starting engines and applying DC power from generators, climate control blower sounds come on with the
switch in the off position which is where they are from default.
- Is it possible to have the FMC start up with full brightness. 2D popup is quite dark when initially opened.
- Is it possible to have all the lighting switches in the off position by default? I usually find myself shutting them all off once DC power is applied.
- Would like to see the MFD Controller as part of the FMC popup. They are one unit in the center console. This would be very handy for using
checklists and charts.
- Flight hours gauge presently not working.
- Terrain Radar works great, weather radar not so much. Any use of the WX Radar causes a CTD.
This is what I have found so far on my end. Every beta build has been installed after removing the previous version first.
I have logged about 17.6 hours since the beta builds have been coming out and I'm loving every hour I put into B350i. The aircraft is beautiful and every beta build makes it even better. Great work!

I had a CTD when inputting a SID into the FMS - this one was from CYYJ RWY27; YVR departure destination CYLW. The CTD came when I pressed EXEC.

Beacon's logic has been fixed so that they will be OFF when switched OFF.
The Wingtip nav light lenses are reflecting the nav lights by design. Otherwise the nav lights are so dim as to not be easily seen in the sim.
"Halo effect" of recog lights has been reduced. Unlike the taxi/landing lights, the recog lights are too small to show up in the sim.
Dynamic lighting for the Recognition lights can be made a bit dimmer.
Tail floods are challenging in that it's proven impossible to eliminate the ground splashes from the dynamic light sources.
F/O Side Engine Nacelle Storage Compartment: Will fix.
Volumetric Prop Effect for F/O side is correct. The pilot's side has been fixed to match. They are controlled by prop pitch.
Missing texture on lift strut for the aircraft entry door. Will fix.
- Would like to see the MFD Controller as part of the FMC popup. There is a separate popup for the MFD Controller. I could possibly combine it with the FMC popup.
Captain doesn't have his headset on. I will find the captain's missing headset. Maybe it fell under the seat.

ATC gave me a hold at LYNNS (Left turn, inbound 68° - see picture). I entered it on the CDU HOLD page. The Hold was shown as circle on the MFD, but not executed. Instead of holding, the flight continued and the following waypoints got lost somehow. Should I have changed on the CDU Legs-page sequence from AUTO to INHIBIT ?

What happened during descent phase: I had altitude armed and VS set. Later, I interrupted the descent by pressing the altitude button. The aircraft levelled out, but PFD kept displaying the previously armed altitude. VS mode remained also shown as active. Later, I was not allowed to set VS to continue the descent.

FYI: Tried to enter a flight plan from EGPH to EGGP. Got a message on the FMC saying, in yellow, Exec Flight Plan Mod, or something like that. I pressed the Exec button, and P3D Ver. 4.5 HF 2 crashed. Mike Gutierrez, North Hollywood, California.

I've just had another crash to disk when entering (pressing EXEC) after entering a SID into the FMS.
This one was NZNS - VICTOR - SWEET Departure RWY 20.
Same happened as at CYYJ the other night.
Meanwhile wrt the elevation issues I was having after installing P3D 4.4 hotfix 2, as per their forum, I have resinstalled FSAerodata and positioned its entries below all the add on scenries, I also put the FTX AEC elevation entry right to the top of the scenery list, and this fixed my elevation problems - in case anyone else has had Hotfix 2 scenery issues...
But I'm still getting crashes when executing a SID in the FMS.
This is fairly fundamentaL and does not allow me to go any further with testing for now, until this is sorted (if it really is a bug) or I am corrected for whatever I am doing wrong.

I have experience two CTD when changing or doing Dir to waypoints in the FMC.

That's a realistic behavior when cockpit blower is On/Windshield defog is On- Standby compass exhibiting twitchy and erratic behavior in flight and on the ground.

You should use the Master Panel Lights to turn on/off all lights but Instrument Indirect (blue glareshield lights). Yes, will be included in the release version. Anyway, you can use up/down arrow/enter/esc keys to operate chceklist and charts.
