King Air 350i Build 0.0.36

I did not initialise the radar this time, and so far so good. No freezes.

Another issue has appeerad; as the previous poster (dihedral) - my autopilot disengaged, but I cannot re-engage it. I saw the AP on the ND turn red and blink as we passed through 20000ft, and since then it has not been able to be re-engaged.

So, I conclude the radar is not properly implemented yet - or may be buggy, and Autopilot is also apparently unstable - unless I have done something wrong. There is no error message on the annunciator or in the FMS, but pressing AP does not respond at all, in spite of fully disengaging and attempting to re-engage it.

May be my general inexperience with a real King Air of course. In the absence of a reference manual, I am anxious to be enlightened.

P3D v4.5.

Final word on same flight: once I descended to low altitudes from FL270 to 5000 the AP came back. Wonder if it was an artifact of severe icing modelling. There was plenty around I believe. I had normal de-icers on but not wings, inlets and brakes...? but there was no icing warnings to be fair

The switch on the left power lever will silence the gear horn.

I’m using straight4.5. Haven’t done the hotfix yet.

Hey Guys!
Still loving this bird! 0.0.36 was a really nice improvement. Here are a few things (mostly minor details) I've noticed and that you're probably aware of and may just be related to operator error:

1. FMC (RSK1 on Legs page) - Unable to change entries (i.e. change spd/altitude). This has been a problem for me since 0.0.33.

2. PFD Baro Knob - Unable to pull to set STD baro.

3. PFD/MFD Inner Knobs - Unable to press knob to select items.

4. Cockpit Voice Recorder Test - No "Test OK" light after pressing test button for 5 secs.

5. Overhead Panel Voltage Gauges - No reading for external power when applied.

6. MVAMS - Fuel amount entered/saved before running P3D is not loaded in to aircraft.

7. Cold & Dark -
A. Engine Anti-Ice switches are set to "On".
B. Environmental Mode Selector set to "Auto".
C. Prop Sync is "On".

8. Real Light - Strange textures on cockpit panels as many people have reported. I have been renaming the "Real Light" folder in the B350i simobjects folder to disable Real Light.

9. AIRAC 1911 - Files are located in the NavData folder in the Milviz root P3D folder, but on the FMC Airac 1811 is displayed (not sure if it is loaded).

Suggestions:

1. Switch Interaction - Doesn't seem to be standardized. For some switches you left click for down and right click for up and others are the opposite. Maybe you could standardize the interactions, for instance, left click is down, right click is up, and, also, enable the mouse wheel for switch interaction. It is a little confusing now, but, I guess, after flying the bird regularly it won't be as confusing.

Questions (probably all operator error):

1. Flight Plan Loading - I've searched and searched the forum, but I can't find the answer (I'm pretty sure I saw it once - maybe in the 0.0.33 thread that seems to be missing). But where do you store the flight plan for loading up the FMC? And what is the extension? .pln? Thanks.

2. MFD Checklists - How do you enable these? I'm unable to press the inner MFD knob to enable the checklist.

3. Map - How to enable it if it is enabled?

4. Wx/Terrain - I am running P3Dv4.5 Hotfix 2, but have been unable to display wx or terrain. What am I doing wrong?

Re the radar freezes. You asked if i had the hotfix (2) for P3D 4.5.

So I upgraded last night, and apart from it messing up my NZSI NZNS airport elevation, switching on radar before takeoff still caused a freeze.

So not sure what to do...

1.) This is fixed in our build now.
6.) I'll look into this.
8.) Yes, as stated, the NL doesn't work just yet.
9.) What are you referring to? Where do you see 1911?
