The airports are correct - it may be a leg that caused the issue. What was the flight plan?

Just wanted to add I flew KPAE DCT EAT DCT EPH J70 MLP V536 FCA DCT KGPI. During the flight the distance to KGPI seemed fine and steadily decreased. I had initially selected an RNAV 02 APR, and as I got closer modified that RNAV once, then flew a visual. On taxi in I noticed the distance to KGPI was showing as over 3000 nm even though I was on the field. I could not tell you exactly when the distance changed from ok to not.

Over the past week I have upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10 using a clean install for Windows. I have been slowly re-installing everything, and keeping everything up to date. The last thing I have installed was the latest version of the KingAir. With Windows 7, the previous beta was working as expected, and I was able to fly it with no real issues. But with this latest beta, and Windows 10, I cannot get the Proline 21 to turn on, and the throttle and mixture handles don't move (the prop levers do). I have also installed the P3Dv4 hotfix 2. Has anyone else installed HF2 and flying the KingAir with success?

Hi Collin,

Just wanted to let you know:

I reloaded the flight plan (KFHR-KAST) after starting a completely new flight, and this time it loaded perfectly, as did the return leg.

Thanks all for your help.

Kind regards,

Ray

Wing flex in a King Air is normally bad.
Funny you mention wing flex being bad..
I was posted to 38SQN RAAF between 2014-2016 and we operated KA350's (not me personally-Logistics was my role)
During 2015 I recall we had a KA encounter some extremely severe turbulence, the kind that rips wings of aircraft.
Thankfully the KA is well built and this jet suffered such severe wing structural damage that it had was deemed unflyable back from Sydney to Townsville were we were based. The photos I saw but dont have showed popped rivets along the wing root at the point the wing joins the fuselage both above and below and a dihedral way beyond a normal KA. The 2 pilots went for counselling and one was so traumatised he didnt fly for ages after.
They eventually repaired it and its still flying today for 32SQN as 38 sadly was disbanded end of 2018 after 75 continuous years of service.

Hey, Loving this bird! I think you'll have a winner once it's released. It looks like development is progressing well. P3D needs an excellent rendition of the B350 or any KingAir. Flight1's B200 is dated and Carenado? Well, I'll pass on any Carenado products.

Anyway, I'm here to ask if MilViz would have a problem with me posting a YouTube of the unofficial beta? It wouldn't be a review, but just a flight to show it off. I think it's fantastic. There's plenty of work left to do, but it seems to be well on its way to becoming a great addition to P3D.

If you would rather I not post a YouTube video I completely understand. But if you have no problem I'll post a link to the video here and you can correct any statements I may make regarding the bird in the comments section of the video. I haven't made the video. Just thought I'd get your OK.

Thanks!

Could you please let me know with which Navigraph data format The King Air can be updated?

Thank you,
Michael

It is going to be a custom format that Navigraph will add (soon, I hope).

Hey, Doodlebug! Ok, I won't make a video. I'll check-in with you sometime in the future to see if it's ok to make one.

Newer textures? Sounds great. I think they look really good as they are, so I'm looking forward to the upgrade in textures.

Hey, Doodlebug! Thanks! I think I'll wait till your next unofficial beta is released before I attempt a video. I'll keep you posted.
