I apologize - yes, the link has been updated to 1.1.9. I overlooked the title this time around.

I can confirm that both Reallight and Trurglas Beta's work for me under Windows 7.
VRAM usage though is the same as with 1.1.7.

My work around is to configure bothe Trueglass and Reallight to 2048x2048 texture sizes in their .xml files.

Nonetheless..
Good job :)

Can you confirm the version number(s) of the .dll in the Gauges folder for each? The VRAM usage reduced by over 1GB for me with the latest version, so that's odd.

Current versions in Prepar3D v4\Gauges\ folder:

Trueglas.dll 1.1.0.1
Reallight.dll 1.2.0.2

The installer also warned about that it was about to install a Beta version for both.

VRAM measurements was done in the same Aircraft, Airport, parking position, time of day and weather.

Note:
All Milviz / MV KA350i folders where deleted before install and the Shader Cache was cleared .

I'll add that reducing my RealLight and TrueGlass resolutions down to 2048 finally makes this plane usable again. The stutters encountered at full resolution made it un-flyable. This is a bit strange, because I never had any trouble running both these products on Leonardo's Maddog, which features 4k cockpit textures, 4k RealLight, and 4k TrueGlass.

The Leonardo Maddog X does not use Reallight anymore, they rverted to their own lighting, but they still use Trueglass.
Maybe due to the performance loss.

For their Trueglass they use 1024 x 1024 textures.

Okay this makes a lot of sense then. I have narrowed down my stutters to RealLight, because turning off Render to Transparent Surfaces has no effect. The severe stutters occur whether the lights are on or off. What is so strange is that earlier builds of the King Air, I had no performance issues whatsoever. Same version of RealLight I'm assuming. I'm just happy I can use the King Air again with a playable frame rate. I'm sure the devs have considered this already, but an option in MVAMS for RealLight and TrueGlass resolution might be nice. I think it's safe to say a good portion of P3D users are playing on 1080p/2K monitors.

Hi Haseen,

It’s working fine for me in HF3

For everyone else:

As far as testing goes, I get a reproducible CTD if I change the destination in flight and then try to select an Arrival. I haven’t yet tried using the SEC PLN though. Any tips on how I should program for a diversion?

Also with the reduction to 2K textures in the reallight and trueglass configs, I am seeing a significant performance increase too and haven’t seen any reduction in quality yet.

Thanks

Tom

It's still a VRAM hog in 1.1.9
It use 5.7 Giga out of the 6 giga of my 1060 Video card.
The FSLAB A320 that is the most demanding aircraft of my hangar use in comparison only 3.3 Giga.

It would be nice if you can nail the issue that make it so demanding on VRAM.
