CTD [Resolved - Reinstall]

Hi,
Only bought this a few days ago, did one flight successfully and a day later tried to do another but got a CTD. I’m using P3d v4.5.
After I chose the aircraft, location, time etc and press start, it loads everything but after the load screen finishes the aircraft doesn’t load and CTD.
I’ve reinstalled and changed the p3d config with no luck.
Any suggestions?

Hi, sorry for your troubles.

- What are your system specs/GPU/System memory etc?
- Do you have any crashes with Prepar3d mentioned in Windows Event viewer under WIndows Logs / System?
- Did you purchase the product through us or ORBX
- Are you installing the latest released version (1.2)

Have you tried uninstalling / reinstalling?

I bought it through Milviz. It’s version 1.2
I’ve had no issues with any other add ons: PMDG NGXu, 777, Fslabs A320/321, TFDi 717, QW 787, MJC Q400.
I’ve tried uninstalling and reinstalling, deleting P3D config file.
My first flight worked perfectly, the only thing I did between my first flight and trying for a second one was, I updated my navigraph data

It could be the navigraph data is corrupt, that would cause a crash. Can you try removing it and do a clean install? That will restore the one it shipped with. Our installer cant delete a file it didn't create.

A fresh install did the trick. I’m sure it was the navigraph data that caused it.
All works fine now.
