Why does some screens go black after cklicking them?

Are you undocking them? When you click the screens, the behavior is to get a 2D rendition of the screen. While the 2D is active, the screen on the 3D cockpit is black

The cockpit over all looks very dark here.. like mine. Compared to the screenshots in the shop it looks very dark in P3Dv5.1, even with unchecked HDR and no shader mods.

Turning off internal vehicle casting and receiving shadows helps a bit for me.

yes i undock them, some times they stay black after redocking them. Issue comes and go

Thanks for answer, but thats my cockpit at cold and dark at night. No EA, no HDR, all shadows off. I cant see anything, unable to start up there.



And thats with some lights on. Thats really enough? Compared to the promo screenshots is this very bad...
