Squirrely Autopilot
The autopilot in FMS mode will over/under correct when maintaining course. For example; It would start a 50-degree bank to the right while in FMS mode when fully established on course even with 1/2 BANK enabled.
During descent on the RNAV (GPS-D).RLG into KEGE, the system randomly lost verticle navigation in FMS mode even when following VNAV path. I have observed this on many descents/approaches with FMS NAV and VNAV captured. Sometimes VNAV guidance comes back, other times the AP remains in VPITCH.

I'm not seeing any other complaints of this is the newest build. How fast are you going on descent? VNAV is advisory only on this aircraft as there is no autothrottle so it could be speed related.
