Editable=0/1 Question

Hello all, I guess i could have put this in any forum, but i was wondering what the Editable= setting does in the aircraft cfg. I think it lets me edit the cfg., if i change it to 1. Am i wrong? Would appreciate some help on that. -- Thank you - Alan Sims

It isn't really needed. It goes back to FS2004 ( or maybe earlier ), when MS had a program called FS Edit. You can still edit using notepad, even if it is zero. Since that program was kind of buggy and sometimes messed things up, nobody uses it.
