18 mins from sea level to FL 350 with a 325 ktas cruise at that altitude.....most impressive!

That sure would be a great option to have.

At one time the spec sheet for these propellers included the statement "enhanced ramp presence" under the improvements for this propeller.

Raisbeck just announced the Swept Turbofan Propeller for the B350. This one comes with 5 blades and is composite.

Re: Blackhawk XP67 350
I will most likely buy the 350 here after Christmas (need to pay for that first), but if there was any chance for MilViz to do the Blackhawk 67 upgrade, it would definitely make things great. We have one of the early XP67 conversions based at my work and talking to the crew about the change in the plane after the upgrade sells me that every King Air 350 should be PT6A-67 powered. The original engines were a kinda last minute upgrade to give "good" performace to the 350, but ended up with serious limitations, especially in hot & high situations. The -67 solves those problems and while the fuel burn goes up, with the Blackhawk mod (which includes the MT Props, although the airplane at our place had the MT's prior to the conversion) the speed increase and faster climb to cruise make up for it, making it possible to go from our place to the West Coast non-stop and actually have more fuel on landing than even the MT-equipped airplane was able to do.
Funny thing though, the -67 upgrade isn't new, just new to the civil certified version. The US Government has been putting -67s on 350s for years. Only after Blackhawk put out a better product did Textron respond and come out with the 350i/IGW with most of the same mods as the XP67 (except for the lower performance Hartzell props instead of the MTs).

Re: Blackhawk XP67 350
I really wish this was modeled. The difference between the base B350 and the Blackhawk model is night and day. Maybe someone can take this on as a 3rd party project like what was done with the Carenado B350.
