New US-Livery: N291DB
Hi,
this is mainly a new color variant of the N70EU stock livery. But the paint on the engine nacelles is slightly different and I created custom PBR textures. So I hope you like it

Out of curiosity, what did you change with the PBR?

I increased the reflectivity of the non-white parts. Which results in more pronounced colors. You can see the difference quite well on this picture:

The rudder uses the default PBR textures and the vertical stabilizer has modified PBR textures. The colors are much stronger and they also have a nice metallic effect based on the lighting condition

Very nive Tim, I appreciate the details you put into it
. I know I am a bit trough the door here but might you be willing or interested to pick up the livery I posted? Then we have a nice corporate livery in europe. Because the other two are special mission.

I'll be on vacation for the next two weeks. After that, I'll see if I have the time for a few more repaints

Very nice work with the US-Livery
What software (Freeware/payware) do I need to create PBR textures?
Are some tools working in conjuction with Photoshop available?

Hi Gunnar,
you don't need any special software. Photoshop is more than sufficient.
So far, we had the normal and the specular map. Now with PBR the textures are called albedo and metallic map. The albedo map is basically the former normal map (e.g. the texture on which you create your livery). The only difference is that the albedo map doesn't use the alpha channel anymore.
The metallic map is used to specify all metallic and non-metallic parts. Metallic parts are painted yellow (RGB 255,255,0) and non-metallic parts green (RGB 0,255,0). The alpha channel is used for the reflectivity. White (RGB 0,0,0) is very reflective and black (RGB 255,255,255) is non-reflective. Of course you can use all shades between yellow and green and white and black.
It's all quite new for me as well, so I hope my explanation is correct

Thanks Tim
I just found out how to change the textures by use of Photoshop. The textures for the 3 liveries that I made, will be slightly adjusted.
But I am still thinking of learning to work with PBR
