Air to air missiles

Hello is anyone having trouble firing the Sparrow missiles? and is so what buttons are you using for Half lock and full lock. I dont have a joystick with a lot of buttons on it. Was wandering is you could use the key board. When i do fire a sparrow i lunches and explodes a few feet in from on the F 4. Any suggestions.

You don’t need the half and full lock buttons. You can use the plain old “Lock” command, which you press twice, first to select half lock, and second for full (position the range strobe first).
Exploding sparrows is not uncommon for the variant provided by TACPACK for this bird. You might get 1 out of 6 that is successful.
