No external loads visible on J/S versions
Hi,
my sim is P3D v4.2; all F-4s versions has been updated via the MAMS way. While the ACM in the "E" version works perfectly, int eh S/J ones can't see any load - see attached images -.
BTW, the exterior lights issue too is still there (interior switches doesn't work, I must press Shift+L in order to get all the external lights working; not a major issue, of course, but...).
Thanks for any help,
regards,
Fulvio

Do you have TacPack?

Yes, of course. If not, the E version shouldn't work properly - and it's working fine -.

Re: No external loads visible on J/S versions
You have the TACPACK package for the E version, but you don't for the S/J which is why the weapons are not loading on the S/J when TACPACK is enabled.

Re: No external loads visible on J/S versions
Yes, but which version of the J/S must I have to get the tacpack? So far I knew it was available for the E version only. yesterday I looked at your products and I didn't find anything, so I thought the J/S versions was a derivative of the E one, regarding the TacPack. Could you please me tell me where can I find it?

Re: No external loads visible on J/S versions
Hi,
so, if I understand well, I must install the J/S ADV version to get the TacPack functionality; correct? While for the E version it's not necessary, since there's a custom TacPack integration.
I gave up for the ADV versions since there was no way to manage the plane, especially at the TO.
Can you confirm me I'm correct?
regardas,
Fulvio

Hi,
OK, problem solved. I installed the ADV version and all is fine. Let's hope to manage this ADV, damn!
Thanks for your help.
Fulvio
BTW, external lights still not working operating them from the consolle switches, but only by Shift+L.

You must assign a key for the external lights master switch in the AMS.

Re: No external loads visible on J/S versions
Hi, I've already done it, but I thought the lights might be controlled by the interior switches. Well, no problem at all.
JUST FOR THE ASKING; if I should like to get rid of the ADV features - letting the TacPack funcionality only - in the J/S versions, does the plane work properly deleting in the main "Panel" folder the 1) "F4ADV" folder and the "F4EADVConfigurationMenu.dll"?
BTW, I'm trying to manage this ADV beast
Thanks again & regards,
Fulvio

Re: No external loads visible on J/S versions
You could copy over the aircraft cfg and air file from the main installer and rename the F4_mod.dll in the panel folder. But I think that will break the TACPACK anti cheat key in multiplayer sessions.

Re: No external loads visible on J/S versions
Hi JB, thanks for your advice; eventually I choose to learn and take control of this ADV version. The one thing I'm puzzled about is when, approaching an airport at low speed (200 knts c.ca) and actuating the first step of the flaps, the plane seems like a bucking horse (if this translation is acceptable). And, at TO, I must switch on the AP since the plane rocket itself to the sky nearly in a vertical line! But step by step I want to master it, instead of being mastered by it.
Thanks again & regards,
Fulvio
