Loss of control while flying the F4 J/s

Post by tdecock » Sat Jan 20, 2018 5:29 pm

Once i'm in the air, i can hardly controle the plane.
It does not react as it should.
The plane starts to spin, and than no more control until the plane crashes.
I am sure that the joystick is working properly, because i have the other planes under control.
Who knows what to do with this ?

You are setting your trim to at least 2-3 units nose down on takeoff right?

Sorry, but what do you mean with "setting trim..." ?
I will go through the manual first I think.
I thought i could take off without knowledge of this aircraft as you can with the F15E.
I quickly wanted a view of the aircraft flying in the air.

Are you setting the SAS switches on? Inflight you should not be slower than 220. Yes, the plane will stall / flat spin easy and recovering is almost impossible (as in real life)

What JB means is the Elevator Trim. You will use that LOTS from Takeoff to Landing

Did you read the manual?

Lol the F-15 in real life has a lot more care free handling. The F-4 was quite a bit more tricky. The ADVs absolutely require you to read the manual.

I had only a quick look to the manual.
I will read it first, now in detail.
When I have still questions after reading, I will come back.
Thanks,
