Install Error Messages

I just ran the updated installed and I received several messages during the installation process. To paraphrase, the installer could not write to:

SharpDXDirectInput.dll, MVAMS.exe, xceed.wpf.toolkit.dll, f4j.dll, and f4s.dll.

I use Symantec Endpoint and it was off for the download and installation.

Did you run the installer with administrator privileges?
(Right click on the sim exe and select Properties->Compatibility->Run this program as administrator)

Yes, I did run as administrator.

** Update: a simple reboot cleared the error message(s) **

It sounds like a permissions issue. Usually this would be resolved by disabling anti-virus and running as admin.
Is there anything unusual about your installation? Is it in the default location? Did the sim function before the update or is this a clean install?

Everything was kosher, prior. All my Milviz aircraft are installed to the default locations, and the installers run w/admin privileges.

The restart seems to have cleared the error...
