MVAMS Problems

Hi, in the past week my MVAMS shortcut has been given me the error message that the MVAMS.exe has changed or moved and will no longer work properly. So I have not been able to access the MVAMS, except if I download and install a latest update. At the end of the update installs, it brings me to MVAMS, but after I click finish I have no way of accessing MVAMS. Also I am wondering if maybe MVAMS has this file tied to it...Heur.AdvML.B ? My Norton Anti-Virus has kept giving me a notice to the effect that this file is bad and it needs to deal with it? Anyone with advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

So, would you suggest that I..1. Un-install both the F-4E and J/S. 2. Let Norton take care of the bad file. 3. Dis-able Norton. 4. Re-download and install the F-4E and J/S just to be sure?

hi, I know this may seem like a dumb question but....when I go to re-download and re-install the Phantoms, do I need to install all of the versions or just the latest version?

Do you mean eg if you have several versions of the base package you install all? If so, no. The latest versions are all complete installers, not partial updaters.

And remember to install in the following order: Base, TACPACK, ADV.

After installing F4J/S and clearing the MVAMS issue by deleting the radio files, MVAMS for F4J/S appeared to be working OK.
However, any change I make in MVAMS for F4J/S in MVAMS is NOT implemented. MVAMS works OK for the other models like F4E, F100 and F86.
Any suggestion on how I can correct this issue?
Many thanks and best regards!

Thanks, I probably need to do that indeed to also get control of the F4J/S! (:-((

I seem to have a similar problem. I just purchased the advanced package for the F-4J/S. I downloaded and installed the latest version. I have the latest version of Tacpack. However, whenever I select the MVAMS I get the problem listed in the screen capture attached. MVAMS works for my other Milviz products. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times with the same result.

Hi there,
after the latest update via MVAMS, the J+S Versions are okay, but the E-Version dont's show up again no LoadoutManager - only a grey Window.
So, i had this problem last year too, but after installing Microsoft Visual C (C++ 2008 Redistruibutable - x86) the problem was gone. Now i have after updating the Rhino the same problem again, but don't know how to fix this. I installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistruibutable - x86, but no success. Any Tips?
Thanks
Nick

We accidentally sent out a bad panel cfg. Those who have the TACPACK and/or ADV packages are not affected. See my post here for a workaround for now: http://www.milviz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=101&t=8904
