Many trouble shoots at the same time

Post by Nicolai-T » Tue Nov 07, 2017 9:18 pm

I have some problems with my phantom:
-The afterburner lights are on even if the throttle is on 0% our the engine's are turned off.
-The normally moving exhaust (end of the engine's) are not moving at al while acceleration.
When I press the button for "flaps down" then it takes about 1-2 minutes that the flaps are down/up.
The peeep noise for the G's is not working.
-When I am steering, do I see how everything is moving but the aircraft it self is not steering.

Maybe something more, but that's it for the first I recognized...

I use Prepare3d v4, installed ADV, F-4E, F-4J, Tacpack and the livery pack. turned off the antivirus, and did almost everything like it was written in the manuels.
I hope someone can help me

Which version of the F-4 are you using? The S/J version is not yet supported in 4.1 Also, if you didn't follow the instructions on installation, then you will get these types of errors.

I am using the:
MilViz F-4E Phantom ll ADV vA1.170830_EADV
MilViz F-4E Phantom ll TACPACK vA1.170721_ETP
MilViz F-4E Phantom ll vA1.170721_E
MilViz F-4SJ Phantom ll vA1.170721_JS

On the Milviz website it's saying that the F-4SJ is working on P3dv4.

I will reinstall all data and try it one more time without the the F-4JS...

The J/S needs an update which we are almost finished with to support v4.1. Is the problem occurring in the E version as well?

Yes, the problem appears in the F-4E and the F-4JS in the same way.

Are you able to move the 3 SAS switches just below the throttle panel?

Uninstall the E and then re-install in the following order:

Base package
ETP
EADV

That said, your installers are rather outdated. Will get you a newer set.

I uninstalled all data now, reinstalled like you said and finally the F-4E works. Thank you very much for supporting :)

I think the problems appeared with the combination of the F-4JS...

It's not possible...
I quit prepare3d, opened the MVAMS and there were separately 2 more updates to make, one for EADV and one for ETP. After the updates I thought, let's enjoy, the now working Phantom and all the trouble shoots appeared again.......

Hmm...I'm wondering now if the updater is delivering the ADV first and then the ETP. Uninstall and reinstall again. But this time rename each installer after running it. The text at the top of the installer window should tell you which version is coming through first.

I don't know exactly how I should rename each installer but I uninstalled F-4E, ADV and ETP. After that, I installed just the F-4E, the airplane works well just the stall "beep" was missing.
So the problem which brings all the other problems are not the updates. I installed (after installed/running F-4E) the ADV and the ETP again without making the updates... but there are appearing the same problems like with updates.

Just reinstalled only the F-4E without downloading any updates, now it runs like it should :?

Okay, I installed all files from the dropbox, still the same problems. You can see what the aircraft does on the screenshot.
-stick/steering
-gasoline
-zero throttle/afterburner
.....
Like before
