INS not working in shared cockpit

Excuse me for making a second topic (the other one named INS not working in multiplayer is closed). Maybe it was unclear that it wasn't only my friend (and brother) who needed support but we both asking for your support. We both have bought the F-4E, my brother only recently, so he is in the process of getting a login for the forum (yesterday he send the email for getting access, and has the same family name as me). I'll try to be clearer on the problem:

We had a problem with NAV using the INS in the shared cockpit mode. INS seemed to align, but there is no correct heading or distance in the flight director for the pilot. We tried to give in coordinates (target 1) and using a flight plan (target 2), with both unsuccessful. The Co-pilot dialed in the coordinates in the INS, but they didn't synchronize or visible to the pilot.

I will say the shared cockpit part of our F-4 is a bit of a mess. I didn't have the ability to test and debug over a network when I made it so unfortunately it is not likely to work.

That's too bad, if we can be of any assistance with testing please let us know. My brother bought the plane (also) for the ability of the shared pit, so it would be nice to have a fix in the near future.

I got my login, and would like to add a bit off hopefully useful troubleshooting information to this support question my brother launched:
It seemed like the pilot's flight director kept pointing to the starting point (airport of departure) with NAV source selector set to "nav comp".

Its moot if the TGT counters aren't syncing over shared pit.

That fits with another symptom: i'm not seeing the target counters change when my brother dials them in.

You did connect over the additional shared cockpit layer from the Addons->Milviz F-4 menu right? You aren't using purely the shared cockpit environment of the sim?

No, we were using both. The sim (Prepar3d v4.1) shared pit and the milviz shared pit add-on. We observed a successful connection and sync when starting the milviz shared pit.

As soon as you have connected, try turning on the Toggle Event Sync option in the shared pit menu.

OK, Should this be done on both sides, or just on the host side?

Both sides if I recall correct.

We have just tested using your recommendation to start the toggle event sync on both sides, unfortunately the issues persisted.
We also noticed the fact that on starting the milviz shared pit layer we always have to end a connection, although we have not yet started one. (the menu screen starts up with option 1 saying "exit shared pit"),

We understand that this cannot be fixed right away, but will this issue be added to a bug list for eventual fixing?
