F4S/J and E CTD p3d V4 after start of engines

Post by tl3rhf » Thu Oct 12, 2017 10:46 am

Hi there,

I have installed both Phantom II J/S and E variants. I have expirienced this problem with P3d V4, but waited for 4.1 just in case I havent´the very latest version

I can easlily load the aircraft, pan around, inside / outside... all cool. But When I start the engine the sim ALWAYS freezes or crashed to Desktop

I use the provided version A1-170721, I have switched off antivirus programs, I havent encountered any faults during installation, I have tried all possibilities to start, from the start screen with a default aircraft and then switched to Phantom and also selcted the Phantom directly in the start up window

I use WIN 10 and the just relaesed P3dV4.1 (Had the same issue with V4)

Looking forward to your help

Thomas

New updates coming for v4.1. Please go to your v4 location and get the version number of your sim1.dll. Want to make sure you won't have problems when we do send out the update.

Hi, I have the same issue and the same Sim1.dll version 4.1.7.22841
P3d v4.1 and exact same description of the CTD since p3d v3.4.
Thanks for starting the thread on this,
Mike

Hi Sergio,
I believe I did. When the engines are spooling up the sim crashes. Just tried the procedure again and same result.
I've uninstalled multiple times, but am now wondering if there is an old file hiding somewhere.

Did you disable your AV before downloading and installing the update?

Yes. I'm about ready to completely uninstall p3d 4.1 and scrub the drive.

Which one are you testing? The E or the S/J?

We haven't released the update for it yet. Only the E's update is out at the moment.
