Hello
I have installed the new P3D v4 file, the aircraft loads fine, you can hear the engines and systems start to spool up, then it freezes, then CTD. I downloaded the new file again and the same thing occurred. I have AV disabled, running P3D v4 as program admin and I installed it as program admin, but no luck. Anyone else have this issue? Any ideas?

Have you used the estonia tool?

Did you install it into the default sim location?

No I have never used estonia tool. Yes it installed to the default location. I followed the same install procedure as the F86 and T38, which installed and worked fine.
I noticed that there is an empty Milviz folder that was created in main P3D v4 folder. Should a file critical to the function of the F4 be in that folder?

Hello Guys,

I also have this same problem. Everything installs fine yet while in the sim when the F-4E is selected it crashes P3D v4. I have also installed the Beaver and T-38 and they have no issues.

Please post the crash report. Found in start menu search->Event Viewer->Windows Logs->Application.

You sure that is the right error? Repeat the crash and immediately check the event viewer please.

I am finding that it doesnt show an event every time it crashes? It had to crash 3 times to get this...

I just cleared my event log and loaded the F4. It freezes within a couple of seconds and then crashes in about 15 seconds. No event log is listed?

Edit wait I think I know what the problem is. What version of P3D v4 are you using? Complete version number please.

I also cleared the log and then selected the F-4E and once again causing P3D to CTD but no event log is generated. Running P3D V4, version 4.0.28.21686, SimConnect Version 4.0.0.0.

Of note, this crash occurs with all versions of the Milviz F-4, example F-4E, F-4J, F-4S and F-4E Advanced.

Your P3D v4 is out of date. You need to update it to the most recent version 4.0.28.21686.

Yours is a different crash. When does it occur? The moment you click fly now/ok and it starts loading or only once in sim?

The update to 4.0.28.21686 did it. Who knew....Thanks!

Mine occurs the moment you click fly now and starts loading. It never makes it into the sim.

Run the AMS and select the F-4E. You should get an update alert. Run that update and tell me if that fixes it.
