Module error on MVAMS

Post by farman » Sat Sep 02, 2017 6:20 pm

Hi,
just installed the new updated versions of the Phantom for P3D v4. First the "E" one, and after that the "J" and "S".
1) While the MVAMS configurator worked properly for the "E" version, trying to set the other two, a message appeared:
This very same issue appeared in the previous v3.4 platform.
2) Opening the MVMAS, I'm asked if I want to install an available update; downloaded, but this was an update for the older P3D version, that I, of course, didn't install Is it correct?
Thanks for any help
Fulvio

To solve the AMS problem, go to the path mentioned (Appdata\Local\MVAMS\Configurations\F4J) and delete both radio files. Do this for the F4S as well.

I have sorted out the mismatch on the update server so that problem should go away as well.

I received the email notification so I downloaded these two files.

1. MilViz F-4E Phantom II vA1.170721_E.zip

2. MilViz F-4E Phantom II ADV vA1.170830_EADV

Are these the correct files?

I installed the first one, #1 above, and when I ran the MVAMS it told me there was an update so I said yes. But then it did not show P3Dv4. Only FSX, FSX:SE, P3D 2 & 3 but not P3Dv4. So I told it to use P3Dv3. Did I mess up?

Then I ran the Advanced exe, #2 above. Is this correct?

I only have the F-4E, no other version.

Osh told me to post here.

Thanks

Yes the update installed an old version. I changed things on the update server to stop that.

The installer version numbers are correct, as is the install order.

Hi,
it's all right now, thanks.
I installed the ADV version, but I got an error message. BTW, I'll post this issue in another topic, as soon as I capture the warning image, since I don'r remember exactly the failed file.
Thanks again,
Fulvio
