F-4 won't install in Steam

I just bought FSX SE and I can't get either F-4 version to appear in the AC list. The F-100 installed no problem. I still have the old FSX installed as well. I have selected both Steam install options but no dice.

If you check the Steam FSX location\SimObjects\Airplanes\ folder, does do the Milviz F-4 Phantom folders show up there?

It's there but there are no texture files.

Sounds like an incomplete install. Can you try posting the installer log here from a reinstall?

I don't know where I'd find that. The installer also doesn't have an uninstall option for me anymore.

It isn't a separate file. But during the install it shows where the files are being placed and such.

Ok I figured out what I did wrong. I was using the EADV installer instead of the base AC. Seems to work OK. I installed as FSX SE with FSX installed. If I uninstall the boxed version of FSX will anything stop working?
