Turning on exterinor lights
After purusal of the following supplied manuals for the F4J/N aircraaft
F4ACM.pdf
F4S&J UG rev 1.pdf
MD F-4S&J.pdf >>>> This one I know about, I was in the Navy and used to keep it current with ongoing pub changes.
and last but not least:
MVAMS.exe >>>> I did not see any where in there where a Lights key could be assigned.
I find no info on how to assign a key to the exterior lights , zero, nada, zip. So can you please shed some light on how I can turn the lights on or what to
do with with out
starting a bar-b-que?
I might add that the installer adds a MILVIZ folder with no files in P3D V3.4

Re: Turning on exterinor lights
Open the AMS->Select the F-4J or F-4S->Controls Tab->Misc Controls->Near the bottom->Master Exterior lights.
Do note that this control won't actually turn on the lights if the switches on the right hand console (Fuselage, Tail, Wing, flash, taxi etc) are not on. It will control the light states if those switches are on though.

I'm like Ray Charles here as I just don't see it (master Exterior Lights). Posted are two images that include all of the choices avail in the Misc controls section.

I did..
Actually, I reverted to the MilViz_F-4_Phantom_II_S_J_vA1.161120.exe with the update MilViz F-4 Phantom II SJ vA1.170323 Update.exe
I have tried and tried (please, please, please believe me when I say that I use the version mentioned above that I have absolutely no issues
with the plane turning into a bar-b-que pit when I load it into P3d like I do with MilViz F-4SJ Phantom II vA1.170426_JS.exe.
When I load this version in P3d, I am in the cockpit view then I switch to the spot view, and the plane will spool up then
I can turn on the exterior lights; easy peasy lemon squeezy.
So, for now, It's "winner winner chicken dinner" with MilViz_F-4_Phantom_II_S_J_vA1.161120.exe and the update MilViz F-4 Phantom II SJ vA1.170323 Update.exe.

Nope, guess not.

I'll just leave it at then then.
