ADV version install issue

I purchased the adv for the F4e and it breaks several things. I uninstalled the F4J and S models to isolate the issue but was unsuccessful. I am missing the failures options. How do I call up what they show in the adv manual. It seems like the afterburners wont light even though it clicks. The main problems is though is I am missing the adv realism settings.

Are you running p3d/FSX as admin?.
if you don't see the ADV config displayed in 'addons' menu then ADV module is not loaded.
