Ext Tanks refuelling

am I missing something if I'm not able to operate the refuelling from the external tanks first?

Air refuelling isn't in yet. Still working on our Tanker module for all our aircraft.

If you mean emptying your external tanks first, move that triangle headed switch labelled EXT TRANS to CENTER for the center external tank, or OUTBD for the wing external tanks.

Hey farman, I hope you're enjoying the F-4E. If you are not airborne, keep in mind fuel will not transfer from externals. Is that the case with you?

Either way, whether you're on the ground or in the air, this model is complex enough that as a fellow user I recommend you spend some time in the manual - it'll translate into more fun for you, not as much time tinkering to make things work. MilViz has also produced some excellent video tutorials, if that's an easier way for you to take in information.
