I got the latest download, 161120, and like a doofus installed it over my old copy, which had some repaints I tried to retain from the beta.
Usually this would be okay and go sans hitch, but this time around, something's not working properly.
There was some odd texture burning going on in the cockpit (most noticeable on the bottom edges of the canopy frame) and most noticeable..
I can't load stores on my aircraft. Nothing would show up, no tanks, nothing, the ACM would show the store loaded on the underside but nothing would appear, I cant recall if the aircraft "drooped" as though weight was being loaded on but the drag numbers and gross weight was changing, like it was there just not visible.
I did a number of uninstalls and reinstalls, and attempted to clear the permissions from my FSX.cfg (I always have a backup, don't worry)
I also dug through and tried to remove any trace of the F4E from the MVAMS program and et cetera but no luck, fresh reinstall of 161120 just ends up with the same issue every time.
I have tackpack but I don't have the TP capable version, would that be causing an issue?

You'll need to reinstall the F4 and then uninstalll it. Use the check box on the installer to do so.

Then install it again. Remember to make sure you're installing as an admin.

definitely tried that, made sure to right-click "run as administrator" when installing.
I don't recall if I tried UNINSTALLING as an Admin but I'll give that a whirl and see what comes of it.

okay so tried uninstalling and reinstalling as admin, same problem.
Adding stores via the ACM doesn't change the weight, but changes the drag index only.
sounds like some problem with the payload, since weight changes aren't visually changing the aircraft's stance on the ground.

If you have TACPACK but not the TACPACK E, set your TACPACK Loads setting to Prompt in the TPM, and say no when you start FSX to fly the F-4E.

Tackpack E meaning the Tackpack kit for the E phantom? Was thinking about picking it up anyway, thank you John!
